These two books written by Karen M. McManus are definitely a must-read for me. From experts they are classified in the mystery category, which is somewhat true, but in both of them romance is also playing an important role which should not be underestimated. So If you first think that is nothing for you I would give it a go anyways. I personally wasn´t fully on board until the first few chapters. You have to keep pushing through these to get into the storyline and understand the characters. I know that takes a lot of will power at first and I have to admit, that I actually started this book months ago and had to restart now, because it seemed a little bit like a cold hearted thriller at first, which is not my taste at all.
